Tonic.ai is an incredibly unique and dynamic concept of a business on its own. When engineers build software, they face issues testing it without using actual customer data (which is against the law). This is why engineers need test data – or fake data. Tonic.ai allows engineers to test their software using synthetic data to avoid compromising real-life customer information.

It’s no surprise the company was able to raise a $35 million Series B round. When the news was shared internally, it was time to go to work. I successfully helped coordinate interviews and articles with the two biggest industry VC sites – TechCrunch and VentureBeat to share the news.
